Micro Trainings (approx. 20 mins each) (i):

• Narrative Intervention Basics Micro Training A micro-training to help explain what is meant by ‘narrative skills’ and outlining the development of narrative skills in children, whilst offering ways to help identify children with narrative difficulties, advising on how to integrate the narrative therapy approach into the classroom or whole school environment

• Using visuals to help support communication A micro-training to help show the importance of visuals and provide some strategies you can start using today to make communication clearer, calmer and more successful for children.

• Stammering Micro Training Outlines what stammering is and the features & impact of stammering you might see in a child. summaries how you can best help the child who stammers.
• Selective Mutism Micro Training Summarises what selective mutism is and the common misconceptions, and outlines how to help support children with selective mutism to participate comfortably in school and gradually building confidence to communicate
• Multilingualism: Interpreting and Collaborating in a Speech and Language Session A training designed to enhance TA's understanding of how they can collaborate with a SALT to support interpretation when working with multilingual children.
